Woodstock, NY : 3 men killed, 1 injured in Woodstock crash in the 3100 block of Lily Pond Road on Saturday, 15th December 2018
Three young men were killed and one was seriously injured when an SUV they were riding in hit a tree early Sunday in unincorporated Woodstock, officials said.
Authorities responded to a crash involving a 1994 Jeep Cherokee in the 3100 block of Lily Pond Road just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the McHenry County sheriff’s office. Preliminary reports said the Jeep was northbound when it left the road and struck the tree.
A 20-year-old driver, a 20-year-old passenger and a 21-year-old passenger were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the McHenry County sheriff’s office. A 20-year-old man was transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital and later transferred to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in serious condition.
The Jeep did not have airbags, and it appeared that the occupants were not wearing seat belts, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials did not identify the victims, but all were reported to live in Woodstock.
