Kennett, MO : A Wardell man was seriously hurt on Friday, June 23, 2017

A Wardell man was seriously hurt when his pickup ran off Highway A, four miles west of Wardell, and struck a ditch. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Parker Watkins, 26, was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital for treatment. The accident happened just before 7 a.m. Friday.

A Malden man was hurt in a Friday morning traffic accident two miles north of Poplar Bluff in Butler County. According to Troop E, a jeep driven by John Williams, 66, ran off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck a sign, a tree, and then a ditch. He was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. That accident happened at 9:10 a.m.
