Atlanta, GA : A high school homecoming queen was killed in Dawson County in a crash on February, Monday 12th 2018

A high school homecoming queen was killed early Monday in Dawson County in a crash with a tractor-trailer just a mile from her school.

The accident on Ga. 53 and Buddy Burt Road killed Grace Elizabeth Sheer, 18, of Dawsonville, the Georgia State Patrol said. Sheer was a senior at Dawson County High School.

According to the GSP, Sheer was driving west on the highway in a 2002 Honda CRV and the tractor-trailer was heading east.
