Oakridge, OR : 74-year-old Patricia Kuykendall died after car crash on Highway 58, east of Oakridge on Saturday morning, March 28, 2015

A Gig Harbor woman died when her car was hit by an oncoming car driven by an intoxicated driver from Arizona on Saturday morning, Oregon State Police said.

The crash happened just before 10:30 Saturday morning on Highway 58, east of Oakridge.

Police said a westbound gold 1999 Honda Accord crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a white 2014 Honda Accord.

The passenger in the newer Honda, 74-year-old Patricia Kuykendall, died at the scene, police said.

The driver, 73-year-old Charles Kuykendall, was taken to the hospital with minor physical injuries, police said.

The driver of the older Honda, Billroy Durham, 36, of Phoenix, Arizona, and his wife, 38-year-old Tuesday Durham, suffered serious injuries, police said.

Police said they expect to charge Billroy Durham with Manslaughter in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Reckless Driving, and DUII of Controlled Substances.
