SMITHFIELD, RI : 1 killed, 2 injured in Madison County crash on Thursday, 27th September 2018

State police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident Thursday that left one man dead and two others injured.

Police said the crash occurred when Miller Wade, 18, was northbound on Buyea Road in Smithtown with two other passengers in his car. Wade’s car drove off the east shoulder, struck an embankment and became airborne before striking a tree and coming to rest in a ravine, they said.
