A violent single-vehicle crash on U.S. 331 claimed the lives of two Northwest Florida people Saturday night, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
FHP reported that Shellie K. Devlin, 52, of Westville, was traveling north on U.S. 331 in a 1992 Dodge Ram van at 7:40 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and went airborne.
Neither Devlin or her passenger, 55-year-old Tharado Stuckey of DeFuniak Springs, were wearing seat belts. Both were ejected from the van and pronounced dead at the scene by Walton County paramedics.
