A 24-year-old Moorhead man was cited for distracted driving that caused a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 Thursday, Oct. 12, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The patrol said Joshua Melvin was driving a 2012 Dodge Durango on the Red River Bridge about 6 p.m. when he struck a vehicle ahead of him. That caused a domino effect of three more fender benders.
No injuries were reported, the patrol said.
At the time of the crash, traffic was slowed down due to a two-vehicle crash on the Minnesota side of the bridge, the patrol said.
