Fatal Crash Blocks Highway 99 In Sutter County

One person is dead and several others hurt in a multiple vehicle accident on Highway 99 in Sutter County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash involving as many as five vehicles shutdown all northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Highway 99 at Oswald Road near Yuba City for several hours Thursday morning.

At this point, it’s unclear what exactly caused the crash.
