Stearns County, MN : 1 injured in Stearns County crash on Tuesday, 12th February 2019

One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash in Stearns County, according to authorities.

A news release from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called just before 2:20 p.m. on a report of a crash just south of Freeport.

The sheriff's office said an SUV driven by Cheryl Kae Ziemer was northbound on Stearns County Road 11 when a truck pulling farm equipment failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Ziemer was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
