Findlay, OH : Bluffton man hurt in Findlay crash on Thursday, 27th December 2018

A Bluffton man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Bright Road Thursday afternoon, the Findlay Police Department reported.

According to police, Billy J. Gardner, 51, of Bluffton, was driving a 2002 Honda Accord south in the 2100 block of Bright Road at 3:08 p.m. when he slowed down to turn into a private drive. His car was struck in the rear by a southbound 2014 Dodge Ram pickup driven by David Lehman, 69, of Findlay.

Gardner was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital, police reported. Lehman was cited for failure to stop in an the assured clear distance ahead, according to police.

The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the scene.
