Motorcyclist dies in accident on Lookout Kentucky

A 63-year-old Dixie County woman was killed Thursday afternoon when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a vehicle that had turned into her path on U.S. 19 in Old Town, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.At about 2:30 p.m., Linda Sorensen Bond, of Cross City, was riding a 2009 Yamaha Star motorcycle southbound in the right lane on U.S. 19, approaching the entrance to Redneck Trailer Sales in Old Town, when a northbound 2004 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Carolyn M. Tuten, 64, of Old Town, attempted to make a left turn across the southbound lanes, directly into the path of Bond's motorcycle, troopers said.The motorcycle struck the right front side of the 4-Runner at an angle, ejecting Bond from the motorcycle and tossing her into the right side of the 4-Runner.Bond was later pronounced dead in the rescue vehicle en route to the hospital. Charges are pending further investigation.
