SUNBURY, PA : Two men critical after crash on Monday, 1st October 2018

Two men are in critical condition following a one-vehicle crash along Snydertown Road outside Sunbury on Monday.

The accident occurred about 3 p.m. less than 2 miles outside of the city. According to state police, one male in the vehicle was ejected from a tan Ford pickup

Trooper Brian Smyers of State Police at Stonington confirmed that both occupants were taken for medical attention via ambulance. In a press release Tuesday, police said the two males were taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Police have still not released the names of the occupants, only noting the injured were 58- and 53-year-old men.

The truck was traveling along Snydertown Road in the area of the former Kampco Industries Inc., at 1503 Snydertown Road, in an unknown direction. At some point, the truck left the roadway, traveled up an embankment onto the Kampco property and came to rest on its passenger side facing away from Sunbury. It was seen leaning against a stack of pallets, some shattered from impact.
