ONAMIA, MN : A two-car crash south of Onamia in Onamia Township in Mille Lacs County on Wednesday, 21st November 2018

A two-car crash south of Onamia in Onamia Township in Mille Lacs County left the drivers with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lynn Edward Abbott, 77, of Plymouth, was northbound in a 2007 Toyota Camry on Highway 169 at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, when the car collided with 64-year-old Marianne Ksiazek Lease of Onamia, who was westbound on 350th Street in her 2006 Saturn Vue.The drivers wore seat belts and their airbags were deployed in the crash when Lease failed to yield at the stop sign, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Abbott was taken to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia while Lease was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
