Baytown, TX: Driver ejected, killed in fatal accident on East Freeway on Friday, July 24th 2015

A fatal accident has all of the main lanes of the East Freeway near Thompson closed early Friday in Baytown.According to the Baytown Police Department, it happened around 2:30 a.m. near Thompson Road when a pickup truck was heading west on I-10 and the male driver lost control of his vehicle.The truck hit the concrete barrier
twice, and on the second impact, the driver was ejected into the eastbound lanes of traffic. He was not hit by any cars, but police said he died at the scene.Baytown police are investigating whether alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
