PHIPPSBURG, ME : Officials respond to fatal crash involving pedestrian in Phippsburg on Tuesday, 27th February 2024

A pedestrian died in a crash in the parking lot of Bisson's Center Store in Phippsburg Tuesday morning.

The store is on Main Road, and the crash happened around 8 a.m., Phippsburg Police Chief John Skroski told NEWS CENTER Maine.

A large pickup truck was backing out of a parking space when it hit the pedestrian, according to Skroski.
