Sun Lakes, AZ: One injured in crash involving cement truck along SR 587 on Wednesday, August 5th 2015

One person was transported to a hospital following a collision involving a cement truck on state Route 587 south of Sun Lakes Wednesday morning.The two-vehicle collision occurred on northbound SR 587 south of Tanner Road at approximately 5:40 a.m.Arizona State Trooper Tim Case said it appears the cement truck may have turned in front of the other vehicle, but an investigation is ongoing.One person suffered serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.SR 587 was closed between Sun Lakes and Interstate 10 but has since reopened.
