Dorchester County, SC : 18-year-old Brionna Burnell killed in car accident in Summerville on Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015

The Dorchester County Coroner's Office says an 18-year-old was killed following a car accident in Summerville Thursday afternoon.

Coroner Chris Nisbet said Brionna Burnell died from blunt force trauma.

According to authorities, Burnell was driving north on Delemar Highway when she crossed the center line.

Nisbet said Burnell over corrected her car which then rolled, and she was ejected.

She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Nisbet said Burnell was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected which led to the fatal injuries.
