Nashville, TN : One person dead in a multiple vehicle crash along I-24 west on Sunday evening, March 15, 2015

One person was killed in a multiple vehicle crash along I-24 west Sunday evening.
Officials say the call came in at 6:11 p.m. near mile marker 40.

Westbound lanes of I-24 were closed for several hours while crews cleared the crash and conducted their investigation.

The victim's identity has not been released.
