Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ : Pregnant woman injured in crash on I-287 early Sunday, May 1, 2016

A pregnant woman suffered minor injuries early Sunday after crashing her car on I-287 northbound, police said.

The woman crashed a 2006 Chevy Cobalt at about 1:15 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Williams said.

Her injuries appeared severe at first, but were ultimately minor, Williams said. The crash may have been caused by a medical condition, but it is still under investigation.

The woman's injuries don't seem likely to affect her pregnancy, Williams said.
