Tallahassee, FL : Three people died in a fiery collision on Interstate 95 on Saturday, 25th April, 2020
It took more than six hours for the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 to reopen after three people died in a fiery collision, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash between a car and an SUV happened about 3:23 a.m. Saturday just north of the Griffin Road exit.
According to the crash report, the SUV had been involved in a previous crash that left it disabled sideways across two lanes of I-95 and facing east. The driver and one of two passengers got out of the SUV.
The car was heading south on I-95 and could not stop or swerve in time to avoid hitting the SUV. It T-boned the driver’s side and burst into flames, killing a woman passenger who had remained in the SUV, the FHP said.
