Ravenna, OH : Southington woman dies in a two-vehicle crash in Portage County on Thursday, June 16, 2016
A Southington woman, Carly M. Desenburg, 27, died in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 9:45 a.m. today at the intersection of state Routes 5 and 59 just east of Ravenna in Portage County.
Two passengers in Desenburg’s vehicle, Levi D. Holmes, 26, of Brookfield, seated in the right front-passenger seat, was transported to Akron City Hospital by the Rootstown Fire Department with serious injuries. Zachary M. Placer, 22, of Hubbard, seated in the right rear-passenger seat, suffered severe injuries and was transported by Metro Life Flight to Akron City Hospital, according to the Ravenna Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The driver of the second vehicle, Jeannette R. Charlton, 57 of Norton, suffered serious injuries and was transported to University Hospitals Portage County Medical Center by the Ravenna City Fire Department. There were no other occupants in her vehicle.
