Van Wert, OH : Driver dies after two cars crashed on US 30 at Liberty Union Road on Monday March 7 2016

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a woman from Payne Monday morning.
According to the patrol’s Van Wert Post, around 11 a.m. two cars crashed on US 30 at Liberty Union Road.
Investigators determined the car, driven by Linda Page, 77, of Payne, was headed south on Liberty Union Road when she attempted to cross US 30.
Page’s vehicle was struck by the car driven by Sara Leslie, 41, of Columbus. Authorities said she was driving west when the crash happened. Leslie was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Page was also transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead from injuries she suffered in the crash.
Investigators closed US 30 at Liberty Road for a brief time after the crash.
Troopers said both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
