HUDSON, NH : A serious crash involving a motorcycle on Sunday, August 20, 2017
An investigation is underway in Hudson after a serious crash involving a motorcycle.
The crash happened on Lowell Road northbound near the Wason Road and Flagstone Drive intersection, authorities said.
It happened just after 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
Police said Daniel Boucher, 61, was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson FLTR traveling north on Lowell Road near the entrance to Market Basket.
Margaret Larocque, 85, was driving a RAV4 southbound approaching the same intersection.
Police said the RAV4 turned left into the Market Basket entrance, and the two vehicles collided.
The Hudson Fire Department coordinated a med-flight to pick up Boucher in the parking lot of St. Kathryn’s Church in Hudson.
Boucher was airlifted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston with potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Larocque was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for evaluation.
The roadway has since reopened to traffic.
