MILAM COUNTY, TX : 1 killed in deadly Milam County crash on Tuesday, 16th January 2024

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Milam County Tuesday morning.

According to DPS, 61-year-old Wayne Hoyt Todd, of Thorndale, was traveling north on FM 486 near CR 436. A garbage truck was stopped picking up trash. Troopers say Todd failed to slow down and collided into the back of the garbage truck.

Todd was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the garbage truck were not injured.
