Lowell,MA : Driver charged with OUI after I-495 rollover crash on March, Saturday 17th 2018

A 51-year-old Westborough resident was issued a summons for operation under the influence after a rollover crash on Interstate 495 on exit 37 on Saturday night, according to a state police spokesman.

The unidentified man, who also received a summons for marked lanes violation, was transported to Lowell General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Trooper Paul Sullivan said.

The crash, which involved the Westborough resident's pickup truck and a second vehicle, took place shortly after 9 p.m. The pickup truck came to a rest off the road in the snow and lying on its roof near Woburn Street.

Details of the second vehicle involved in the crash were unavailable as of late Sunday afternoon, according to Sullivan.

The ramp was closed until roughly 10:15 p.m. when emergency crews cleared the scene.
