Two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of John L. Puryear Drive and Estes Lane on Tuesday afternoon, the McCracken County Sheriff's Office said.Deputies were dispatched to the scene around 4:35 p.m. There, they found that a 2017 black Nissan Versa operated by Eli Averitt, 20, of Kevil, had attempted to make a left turn onto Estes Lane when it collided with a 2009 black Nissan Maxima operated by Heather McKinney, 44, also of Kevil. Both vehicles sustained "severe" front-end damage, the sheriff's office reported.
