Monroe, WA : Three people injured when car crashes through Monroe storefront on Saturday morning ,June 20th 2015

A 61-year-old woman drove her Toyota Camry through the front door of a Dollar Tree store in Monroe on Saturday morning, injuring three people entering the store.

According to the Monroe Police Department, the driver was attempting to park in front of the store in the 19900 block of Highway 2 just before 11 when she drove up onto the sidewalk and crashed through the front door.

A woman, 61, and her two grandchildren were entering the store when the car crashed into the building, police said. She and her 10-year-old grandson were taken to EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Monroe. The 11-year-old granddaughter had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police said the driver was complaining of medical issues that occurred at the time of the collision; she was also taken to EvergreenHealth.
