Richland County, SC : Driver dies after being injured in crash on 277 in Columbia on Monday afternoon, April 25, 2016

The Richland County Coroner says a driver who was injured in a crash Monday afternoon on 277 in Columbia has died.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at about 4:20 p.m. Monday on 277 northbound near Fontaine Road.

Coroner Gary Watts says Anthony Raynard Samuel of Columbia was taken to the hospital after the crash. He died Tuesday afternoon from injuries he suffered in the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
