Clayton,OH : No one seriously hurt in crash near Clayton on August, Monday 14th 2017
Five teenagers were hurt after a single-vehicle crash near Clayton.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a car was going too fast as it merged from S.R. 49 onto I-70 westbound around midnight.
The car ran off the road and flipped several times.
None of the people inside were wearing seatbelts. Four of the five people inside the car were ejected during the crash.
Four of those people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and one was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital.
OSP says none of the people suffered serious injuries.
“This could’ve been a whole lot worse,” OSP Sgt. Chris Colbert said. “The fact that four people were ejected and only minor injuries, or non-life threatening injuries came out of it is a miracle in and of itself.”
Generally, when people come out of the cars, things go bad quickly.”
The driver, a 19-year-old from Dayton, was cited for failure to control.
