East Feliciana Parish, LA : Multiple injuries reported in Ethel crash involving school bus, pickup truck on La. 19 near the La. 955 intersection on Friday, 13th December, 2019

Multiple injuries have been reported after a pickup truck collided with a school bus Friday morning in East Feliciana Parish.

The wreck happened about 7 a.m. in Ethel on La. 19 near the La. 955 intersection.

According to Louisiana State Police, the driver of the pickup truck was traveling southbound on La. 19. While attempting to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone, the truck hit a school bus traveling northbound on the highway.

Stae Police spokesman Taylor Scrantz says eight children were on board the bus at the time. Some received minor to moderate injuries.
