Henderson,KY : Henderson County woman injured in two-vehicle collision on February, Tuesday 13th 2018
A Henderson County resident was injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision at Kentucky 416-West and Smith Denton Road.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said the driver of one of the vehicles, Natalie Pirtle, 24, 10000 section of Kentucky 416-West, was transported to Methodist Hospital by a private vehicle for a possible broken wrist, a news release said.
The driver of the second vehicle, Spencer Sword, 16, a resident of Smith-Denton Road, was reportedly uninjured.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. when Pirtle was traveling east on Kentucky 416 in a 2013 Ford Focus, the sheriff's office said.
Sword pulled out onto Kentucky 416 in front of Pirtle's vehicle, authorities said, causing her to T-bone the 2005 F-150 Sword was driving.
The truck was knocked into a ditch, but sustained only moderate damage, a news release said. Pirtle's Ford Focus sustained heavy damage, officials said.
