GARNER, NC : Officer suffers minor injuries in Garner crash on Wednesday, January, 10th 2018

A Garner police officer sustained minor injuries following a crash Wednesday night

Authorities said the officer, who was not identified, was responding to a call when the patrol vehicle collided with another car on U.S. Highway 70.

The officer was taken to WakeMed for treatment of minor injuries, authorities said.

The driver of the other car suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Authorities did not say who was responsible for the crash.
