Princetown, NY : 52-year-old woman dead after a two-car crash in upstate New York on Thursday, April 7, 2016

Authorities say a two-car crash in upstate New York has left a 52-year-old woman dead.

State police say the crash happened on Route 20 in the Schenectady County town of Princetown just before 10 a.m. Thursday. Troopers say Stephanie MacGilfrey's 1988 Pontiac was broadsided by another vehicle being driven by a 72-year-old man.

Investigators say the Altamont woman was extricated from the vehicle and taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
