NEWPORT NEWS, VA : 1 killed after vehicle struck VDOT truck on I-64 in Newport News on Wednesday, 29h May 2024

A person was killed after two vehicles crashed on Interstate 64 in Newport News Wednesday afternoon, Virginia State Police (VSP) said. One of the vehicles belongs to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes at Exit 247 near the Lee Hall area shortly after 2 p.m.
