Columbus, OH : Lancaster man killed in Fairfield County car crash on Friday September 30 2016

A 60-year-old Lancaster man was killed Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County.

The State Highway Patrol post in Lancaster reported that Rudy J. Hill, 18. of Lancaster was driving northbound on Route 188 in Pleasant Township when his 1998 Ford Ranger went left of center and hit a vehicle driven by Larry E. Miller.

Miller, who was driving southbound just south of Mudhouse Road, was pronounced dead at the scene. Hill was taken to Fairfield Medical Center for his injuries and is expected to recover.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
