Cabarrus County , NC : 39 - Years old woman Struck and killed by truck along Plaza Road Extension near Larewood Drive on Monday , March 9th 2015

State troopers have identified a woman who they said was struck and killed by a truck in Cabarrus County late Monday night.

The accident happened around 10:20 p.m. on Plaza Road Extension near Larewood Drive.

Troopers said 39-year-old Lekeshia Nolen, who lived on Larewood Drive, was wearing dark clothing when she was struck.

Investigators told Channel 9 they believe she was impaired based on beer cans at the scene and a witness who had seen her earlier in the evening.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
