Hanston, KS: One person killed in Hodgeman County crash on Friday, July 24th 2015

The Hodgeman County Sheriff’s Office reports one person was killed in vehicle crash around 6 p.m. Friday night.The Kansas Highway patrol identifies the victim as 45-year-old Sergio Mendez of Bazine, Kansas.KHP says Mendez was driving a 1996 Mack truck northbound on Hodgeman County Road #228 when the front driver-side tire blew out. The Patrol said Mendez was ejected when vehicle went into a ditch and rolled multiple times.The crash happened 5.8 miles north of K156 which is north of Hanston, Kansas.No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
