Anderson County, S.C : One dead, One injured after wreck on Snow Road near U.S. 29 in Anderson County on Thursday night, September 4, 2014

One person has died and another is injured after a wreck Thursday night, according to Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore. The wreck happened on Snow Road near U.S. 29 just before 9:30 p.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol message board. According to Shore, a car appeared to be traveling west on Snow Road, when it traveled off the right side of the road and struck a telephone pole. Two people were in the vehicle, One was transported to the hospital and the other was pronounced dead at the scene, Shore said. According to Shore, the Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
