24-year-old identified in fatal morning wreck on Pulaski Pike
Police have identified the victim of a fatal Sunday morning wreck on Pulaski Pike.Zaneta Denise Hatch, 24, was killed in a one-vehicle accident after the southbound pickup she was driving struck a utility pole, Huntsville police said. She died at the scene.
The wreck occurred between 6 and 6:30 a.m. on Pulaski Pike near Craft Road.Hatch is the second person in a week to die after striking a utility pole. She is the second 24-year-old to die in a Madison County wreck in the past 15 days.
Robert James McDonald, 64, died Jan. 6 from injuries sustained in the wreck that cut a power pole in two and dropped power lines across Oakwood Avenue. Emily Daye, 24, of Harvest, died after a two-car collision on Alabama 53 and Harvest Road on Dec. 29.
