Magnolia, MS : Eric Williams, 39, dies in one-car wreck on Highway 48 in Pike County on Saturday, March 21, 2015

Authorities say a 39-year-old Magnolia man died in a one-vehicle accident on Silver Drive, just off Highway 48.

Pike County Coroner Percy Pittman tells The Enterprise-Journal Eric Williams died at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe Williams swerved to avoid something in the road. They say his car ran off the road, hit a tree and was thrown from the car.
