Carlisle, PA : Pedestrian killed in York County crash on Monday, December, 18th 2017

Northern York County Regional Police said a 77-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Conewago Township, York County, Monday night.

Police said Lewis C. Crone Sr. was walking across the 600 block of East Canal Road to retrieve his mail at 6:03 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling west on the road.

Crone was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the vehicle was operated by Mark Moline, 53, of Dover, who was driving home from work.
