Washington County ,OR : One Driver killed after driving off road and car rolled on Friday evening ,May 8th 2015
A man driving west on NW Gales Creek Rd. failed to make a turn and crashed his car. The car rolled and the driver died at the scene on Friday.
On Friday at about 6:45 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies were called to the scene of a car crash on NW Gales Creek Rd. and NW Sargent Rd. in Washington County.
When Deputies arrived they found a vehicle in a field on the side of the road. The Driver, 53-year-old Steven Gorretta, of Forest Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Gorretta was driving west on NW Gales Creek Rd. when he unable to follow a curve in the road.
Deputies said Gorretta was not wearing a seat belt and was killed when the car rolled after it went off the road. He was driving a maroon 1970 Ford Mustang.
Investigators from the Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) are conducting the investigation into the crash.
