Jefferson City,MO : Teen hurt in one-car wreck on June, Thursday 8th 2017
A Jefferson City teenager was hurt in a one-vehicle crash Thursday in Cole County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at noon on High Point Road, just north of Old Ridge Road.
Ethan Allison, 17, swerved to miss an animal and drove off the right side of the road, going into a ditch.
Allison was not wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.
One person was hurt in a three-vehicle crash Friday morning in Osage County.
Patrol reports show the crash occurred on U.S. 63, a half-mile north of Missouri 133, around 10:25 a.m.
Janice Wieberg, 55, of Loose Creek, was stopped in traffic to make a left turn when the driver of another vehicle, Alice Taylor, 71, of Belle, failed to see Wieberg had stopped. Taylor struck Wieberg's vehicle in the rear, causing Wieberg's vehicle to strike a tractor trailer driven by Abreham Antero, 38, of Dallas, Texas.
Antero and Taylor had no reported injuries. Wieberg was treated for moderate injuries. All those involved were wearing seat belts.
