Man dies after motorcycle crash in Southeast Portland

A man died after having an apparent medical emergency while riding his motorcycle in Southeast Portland Friday.
Authorities were called about 2:15 p.m. when the rider crashed near the 1400 block of Southeast 107th Avenue. Passers-by were performing CPR on the man by the time paramedics arrived but he died at the scene, said Ron Rouse, a Portland Fire and Rescue spokesman.
Witnesses said the man appeared to have a medical issue before crashing, Rouse said.
No one else was injured and the man's identity has not been released.
