NEW YORK, NY : Driver charged with DUI in multi-car crash in Queens on Saturday, 28th October 2023

At least eight people were hurt in a crash at a Queens intersection Saturday.

Surveillance video caught the collision just before 3 p.m. on Queens Boulevard and 47th Street in Sunnyside.

Police said a 33-year-old man driving a Honda struck multiple vehicles and a 14-year-old pedestrian.

"We heard a, it sounded like a bomb, and we came here and we saw that," one witness said. "It's terrifying, it's... Just, like, you have to be more careful."

A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.
