Leader, MN : 42-year-old Erik Mathison died in Fatal car crash in Cass County on Friday, September 9, 2016

A two car crash in Leader Minnesota has left one person dead.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's office, 42-year-old Erik Mathison of Little Falls Minnesota was found dead at the scene after a head on crash.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. Friday on 76th Ave. SW on County Road 103.
Authorities say, Mathison was driving a Honda IEX. His passenger, a juvenile male, was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, 19-year-old Steven Longworth and his passenger, Jessy Frie, 22, were treated at Staples Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
