Acworth , GA : Driver was kIlled and Three Others Were Injured In hit-and-run accident after hit-and-run accident on Friday Night , January 23rd 2015

Police say a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident was killed in a subsequent crash.

Police Chief Wayne Dennard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://on-ajc.com/1Eeq6VH ) that a driver in a Monte Carlo tried fleeing the scene of an accident Friday night.

While fleeing, the driver lost control and was struck by a truck. The driver of the Monte Carlo was killed in the collision. Authorities did not immediately release the identity of that driver.

Three people were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Police said one of them was in critical condition.
