Fort Wayne, IN : Huntertown man ID'd in fatal crash on Monday, October 2, 2017

The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified the driver who died at the scene of a crash on Cedar Canyon Road and Indiana 3/Lima Road on Monday.

Eugene Daniel Wolfe, 90, of Huntertown, was driving an utility-task vehicle through the intersection when he was struck by box truck that failed to stop at a red light.

After an autopsy, the Allen County Coroner ruled that Wolfe died from blunt force trauma and the manner of death was due to a motor vehicle crash, the coroner's office said in a statement.

Wolfe is the 33rd traffic fatality for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2017.
