Pocahontas, AR : Clay Co. man killed, two injured in head-on crash on Arkansas Highway 304 in Randolph County on Monday, February 9, 2015

One man was killed and two others were injured following a head-on crash in Randolph County.

Jim Austin, 80, of Peach Orchard died in the crash, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash report states the incident happened just after 8 p.m. Monday on Arkansas Highway 304 east of Pocahontas.

According to ASP, Austin was traveling east when a vehicle heading west, driven by Bruce Stevens of Poplar Bluff, MO, crossed the center line causing the crash.
Austin was pronounced dead at the scene. Stevens and his passenger, Cayla Allred of Pocahontas, were taken to a Memphis hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
