Winooski ,VT : One injured after Car flips and hit the turning car on Wednesday morning ,June 10th 2015

A dramatic crash in Winooski was caught on a police cruiser cam.

A Winooski police sergeant was following behind as the accident happened on Main Street around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police say as a car slowed to make a right turn into a store driveway, a Toyota tried to pass on the right. The Corolla hit the turning car, launching the Corolla into the air. It landed on its roof on the sidewalk.

Traffic on Main Street was slowed for about an hour.

"We were able to keep northbound traffic open throughout the whole time frame, but vehicles traveling southward detoured onto Weaver Street to get past the accidents. There was a little disruption, but nothing significant," Winooski Police Lt. Scott McGivern said.

Police say the driver of the Corolla was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The people in the other car were not hurt.
